Clubs

Extra-curricular opportunities and Enrichment

We believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom and we ensure that children have the opportunity to access a broad range of opportunities that enrich their education. Half termly, an educational visit is planned which will allow the children to venture out into the local community and beyond. Trips are always planned to purposefully enhance the learning. In their time at Woodhill, all children will attend the theatre, visit the local surrounding areas of natural beauty, such as Greenwich Park and the Oxleas Woods, enjoy a trip to one of the world-famous London museums and visit a place of worship. Visitors also regularly are welcomed to Woodhill to share their expertise and experience. Regular visitors include authors, scientists, artists and community leaders. Through our range of enriching opportunities to learn, children form deep and long-lasting connection to their learning and make life-long memories.

Clubs are a great way of extending your child’s learning through promoting their interests and allowing them to explore their individuality. We are offering a rich and varied selection of activities and we hope there will be something for everyone. Clubs have been proven to help with a child’s confidence, personal skills, making new friends and academic achievement. It is therefore vitally important that we encourage our children to attend these clubs.
