Children in Need Day

On Friday 19th November, Woodhill Primary School are pleased to support BBC’s Children in Need by hosting a ‘Historical Fancy Dress Friday’ day. Children are invited to wear a fancy dress costume of a historical figure!

This ties in with our school focus on history and fostering a love for the subject. We would love it if children could come in on the day being able to say who they are, what time period they are from and why they are important. They will be sharing this with the rest of the class.

By taking part and donating £1, you will be supporting BBC’s Children in Need.  Thanks to your donations, Children in Need continues to make a difference to the lives of many children across the UK. Last year they supported over 460,000 children and young people affected by a whole range of disadvantages such as poverty, disability, illness, distress or trauma. The Children in Need charity helps to ensure that every young person has access to the opportunities they deserve, so your support is as important as ever. Thank you.

With the help from ParentPay, we have set up a very easy and convenient way for you to donate this year, please log in to your account to make your donation online - don’t forget to register for Gift Aid if you pay UK Tax.  ALL the money raised via this link goes directly to Children In Need.  We will also have buckets on the day for any spare change you may also wish to donate to this wonderful charity appeal.

We look forward to an entertaining day with lots of donations received.

Thank you for your continued support.
