Opening of our Muga

On Wednesday 15th October, world 400m champion Christine Ohururgo, together with the representatives from Sport England, the Youth Sport Trust and the Association for Physical Education, visited Woodhill to celebrate the completion of our MUGA, as part of Sport England’s Primary Schools Facilities Fund.  Our school is the first school to be completed in the whole of England as part of this funding, which we successfully bid for back in March of this year.

‘It has been a great afternoon for sport at this school and I have been honoured to be part of it.  Thanks for inviting me.  The children were well mannered and enthusiastic, they should be proud of themselves.  I enjoyed talking to them.  Thanks Alagie, Millie and Adele for your excellent service.’  Christine Ohururgo.
